It is hard to find a more pedestrian heavy spot than the Largo Argentina bus stop.
Visitors and locals alike pass by throughout the day, waiting for buses to Termini and beyond.
If you have stood here, you have absolutely passed by Vice Gelato.
Inside, I am most fascinated by the walls.
Studded, icy, sparkly, the interior of Vice has a nebulous ceiling and crystalline walls.
There are lovely frozen treats on display in gem-studded freezers.
But I am mainly a fan of the all-natural gelato.
Vice scores major points for location, and for its chemical-free ice cream.
And I am not sure why anyone would consider excessive gelato a vice…
Stop in or check out more of the best gelato in Rome.

Hi Natalie, I’ve found all your blog posts so delightful and helpful. I’ve been flagging stores, restaurants and best gelati locations in preparation for my trip this week. I do want to make you aware that Vice Gelati is now permanently closed, as well as Fiocco di Neve.
Hi Anne Marie! I’ve updated the posts. It is a real shame about Fiocco di Neve – they had a sign up saying there was new ownership so I am waiting to see if it reopens and is any good.
In new gelato news in the same area – there is now a Gracchi and Fatamorgana in the area and I recommend both!
