Once upon a time, the cutest shop in the world was just a few steps from my apartment.
Filled with delicate ceramics, and bold linens, Lela Casa quickly became my motivation for leaving the house before the market closed on Saturdays.
Luckily, the store still exists, but has simply moved locations.
Now situated between Ponte Sisto and Campo de’ Fiori, this central store is one of the best places in Rome to shop for home accessories.
Think home goods can’t be exciting? Then you have not experienced the perfect curated cuteness that is Lela.
It is one of those shops that makes me yearn to be a more enthusiastic cook, so that I could justify buying matching enamel for my kitchen.
It is a store that makes me dream of perfect glasses for perfect dinner parties.
Could I just move my kitchen here, please?
I always manage to find a sweet gift for a friend when I pop in.
And to be honest, I very very rarely leave Lela without having found something for myself as well.
Because one day, when my actual free time catches up with my good intentions, my perfect home accessories will be ready and waiting.

YES! If only I were so organized/committed!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll be making a trip there this week 🙂
Yay! I love it! The owner is fantastic as well.
