Today, 4,000 miles away from Rome, is the final sendoff for an amazing man.
A man I love very much. A man who made his passion his life.
Yesterday, we went to St. Peter’s Basilica in his honor.
At 5:30, the wait to get inside is only about 5 minutes. The evening light makes for a breathtaking entrance.
Liturgical art will always have a special place in my heart, and I am lucky to be able to live a few stops away from the Vatican.
But another artist will always be my favorite, and my thoughts are with everyone gathered to celebrate him today.
