Things I Have Found on the Street in Rome and Taken Home

  1. This bird cage (which I still have not turned into a hanging planter as envisioned when I insisted we pull it out of the trash).
  2. That cat inside the bird cage (who is kind of a jerk but very entertaining).
  3. Several chairs just out of camera shot.

I also once found a wine rack in Naples and carried it around with me all day, and then settled it into its own seat for the train ride back to Rome. I am beginning to recognize that I might have a problem…
