The weather in Rome has been absolutely amazing for the past three days. The sun is back and I’m slowly letting myself start to believe that maybe, just maybe, spring is coming.
I spent Saturday at Villa Borghese reading in the grass, between dead winter leaves and new daisies.
Che bella giornata!
Lovely image! If only the same could be said of the weather for the rest of Europe! It is freezing in my neck of the woods!
Ok. So… I have a confession to make. I’ve been stalking you (or your blog rather) ever since I was preparing to go to Rome in November. I’ve been reading your blog and getting rather manic when you haven’t updated anything for a while. I also just googled you. This may sound weirder than it is, but I just adore your blog. You seem to be such a lovely lady with a ton of self-distance. However this is true or not, I don’t know. For all I know, you might as well we quite the opposite, which anyway is irrelevant. I love your blog, and just thought you should know that you have a fan in Sweden. 🙂
OH SHIT! Ok, I totally linked to the totally wrong person on facebook! Total embarrasment. My real facebook page is facebook.com/georgejosef !
I am not a hairy old creepily looking man from Washington, and I am certainly not “currently retired due to the socialist regime” (wth?).
XoXo,
Georgieboy.
Best. Facebook profile. Ever. “currently retired due to the socialist regime” is going to be what I list on every “occupation” box from here on out.
Isn’t this weather we are enjoying glorious, I just feel that nature may be lulling us into a false sense of security. Meanwhile I shall continue to make the most of it.
