Spring in Rome

This is the time of year that makes me fall in love with the city all over again.

The light on the terra cotta colored buildings is soft, the trees are in bloom, neighbors are smiling, the nightclub under my house has reopened.  Ah, wait. The last one is NOT my favorite thing about spring.

But at least I have friends with ridiculous terraces and views that make my troubles melt away.

Happy Primavera!

Hey L’americana! I’ve been reading up on your blog because I am planning a trip to Rome in September. I have taken note of nearly every place you’ve mentioned, every picturesque patio coffee shop, delicious gelato, or fried cheese pasta bowl! I wanted to thank you for including the address with your wonderful photos capturing all of Rome’s charm!! Extremely helpful and you have completely convinced me that I made the right choice in spontaneously buying a ticket to rome. Thanks again!

Woo hoo! Nothing like a spur of the moment ticket splurge!

September is a beautiful time to be in Rome. Hoping I can share more of my favorite spots over the summer.
