Last night, we had a RIDICULOUS storm. News agency are reporting that 80,000 lightning strikes hit northern Italy in 24 hours, and we had our fair share of bolts in Rome.
In a city where many commuters zip around on motorini, inclement weather is not exactly desirable.
That’s why some people opt for the all-terrain, full-roof scooter- much to my amusement.
I have always thought those motorini were the coolest things! Stylish BMW no less!

I can’t figure out how that protects you from the elements. With no side panels you would think the rain would just come right into the side. So why even bother?

We were kept awake most of the night by that storm and it knocked out our power, landline and internet connection. The internet was not repaired for four days and I am still trying to catch up!
