My favorite bar is in San Lorenzo. In summer, the green ivy covers the patio but it will slowly turn a brilliant red-orange as the days get shorter.
Summer Saturdays with a cappuccino, a book and the boy are pretty much perfection.

I was born and raised in California. In fact, I've never been out of my beloved state for more than two weeks at once. It was clearly time for a change.
I sold my surf board and my car, packed my books into my mother's attic, loaded as much as I could carry into two suitcases and bought a one-way ticket to Rome.

No way!! This is my favorite bar too! I used to while away the morning there while waiting for my girlfriend (now wife) to finish work! I can’t believe that of all the bars in Rome, we like the same bar! There’s a get pizza taglio place just up from there as well (no idea of the name).
ahahaha! That’s amazing. Not only does it have the best patio in Rome, the big guy behind the counter makes a mean cappuccio.
I believe you are referring to Super Pizza? Pronounced ‘SOO-per’, of course.
