The best way to learn Italian is not going to work for me.
Yes, I live in Italy. Yes, I met my boyfriend in Rome. And yes, we both speak English and enjoy eggs for breakfast.
I would still love to improve my Italian, so I was thrilled to find dual language books with Italian on one page and English on the other.
Besides, the irony of finding William Carlos Williams: Il grande romanzo americano (The Great Ameican Novel), was too much to resist.
But, you know, be sure to bring your lire.
I shouldn’t be surprised that there’s no Euro price tag. I found this book at the same store that tricked me into buying a 1989 map of the world.
Lire!! I find that books are pricey here, thank goodness for sites such as Bookcrossing and Bookmooch. 🙂
